The following letters have never been made public before and we are extremely grateful to Shasta Waters for allowing us to publish them. Shasta is the daughter of Tony Curson who many people will remember as a leading light of Hethersett Parish Council, Hethersett Middle School, Hethersett Cricket Club and many other village organisations.

The letters were written by her grandfather Percy Curson to his sister Mary who lived at the family farm - High House Farm, Little Melton. Some of them are much easier to read than others but we hope you find them interesting.
